Next Steps to get contracted

☐ Send Manager Your First and Last Name, Business Email, Phone Number, and NPN

- Manager will initiate your invitation to HCMS (Hierarchy Compensation Management System). You will receive the following 2 emails that look like this:

1. Subject: FFL-Onboarding for New Agent

- This will come from

- This email will bring you into HCMS where you will verify all of your personal information. Make sure to save your username and password.

2. Subject: FFL - Contracting Process

- This will come from

- This email takes you to SureLC - REGISTER NEW ACCOUNT, you will input your information and it will verify you through NIPR.

- You will receive a second email from Setup@surancebay.comIt will look like this in your email box:

- You will click on the link "CLICK HERE" in the email to create your password to login and activate your account.

- Make sure to save your username and password for SureLC for future use.

- When you log out for the first time, be sure to bookmark the login page on your browser for quick and easy access.

☐ Complete all the tabs on the lefthand side of SureLC (see below for reference)

- There should be no red or yellow dots by the time you have completed this step.

A Few Things To Note:

- "Doing Business As": Select Individual if you are not licensed as a business. Do not check "Has Solicitors" or "Assigning Commissions".

- "FINRA": Select "No" if you are not a FINRA Representative. If you don't know what this means, you are not a FINRA Representative.

- "CE & TRAINING": Click "Start Training" and select "SuranceBay LLC AML". This is free to you, and once you complete it, download and save the PDF certificate.

"PROFILE DOCUMENTS": Make sure your voided check, E&O Insurance, SuranceBay AML Certificate, and any other documents requested are showing "attached" with no red or yellow issues indicated.

☐ Complete Your Contracting Requests in SureLC

- Click "Requests" under the "Contracting" section on the lefthand side of the screen.

- Click on the blue "CREATE REQUEST" button and complete the 2 available carrier contracts.

- Make sure to confirm and sign the contract, and it will move to the next status at "BGA".

- SureLC Statuses: 

  • Producer: Go back through and confirm your contract request

  • BGA: Good Job, you have done it correctly and your contract has been sent to our home office

  • Carrier: FFL home office has sent your contract to the carrier 

  • Discarded: Locate the reason, and email: for help

- Make sure to call the carriers once you see your request move to "Carrier" status, OR it has been 2 business days.


- Check for an email from that looks like this:

Click on the NLC "login" link in the email.

- Log in using your HCMS username and password.

After you log in, verify your NPN when prompted to do so.

- Complete all of the tabs on the lefthand side of the screen (see picture below). Make sure to upload your voided check, E&O Insurance, and SuranceBay AML Certificate when prompted.

Once all of the tabs on the lefthand side of the screen are completed, click the blue "+" at the top of the screen > Select "New Contracting" > Select "Americo".

- As you move through the contracting request, make sure to fill out and attach any necessary documents

- At the end of the contract submission, NLC will require you to confirm and sign with your contract by entering in the code texted to your phone.

*If there are any issues, the system will prompt you before submitting your request.

Once you've completed all the above steps successfully, send an email to for your remaining carriers
